Every day in July I record and upload one sound. Today it's the metal casing from an old aricon unit, and it's making a lot of noise in the studio!

Every day in July I recorded and posted one sound! Here is an overview of days 1-11: Day 1. Bolang Gu, Chinese toy pellet drum Day 2. Old photo tripod made in GDR Day 3. Scanner Day 4. "Floop" sounds from bottle and pipes, compressed air spray Day 5. "water sinkhole" effect from large glass jars submerged Day 6. Workout on an air rowing machine Day 7. Urban evening summer ambience, Bucharest, Romania Day 8. Sawing and sanding IKEA furniture. Its made of paper!! Day 9. Doing dishes! Day 10. Squeaky dog toy through a convoluted contraption involving a 30 foot plastic pool vacuum hose with some water inside attached to fiberglass speaker horn from an IMAX speaker, at the end of which can be found a confused teckel dog making all sorts of pleading noises! Every day in July I record and upload a new sound. Since I don't have any dedicated devices for recording EM waves, I made my own. Today I'm trying out an AM loop antenna from an old radio. It goes straight into the XLR pins of the Zoom F8 and I'm getting promising results! There are slowed down parts around second 20 where the optical flow does some interesting things to the video.
